Terms of Service

These terms apply when you book or use a repair service from Tabi Tech Repair ("we", "us"). By leaving a device with us or accepting a quote, you agree to them.
Quotes & turnaround
Quotes are based on the information you give us and may change once we've inspected the device. Tabi Tech Repair is run alongside a full-time job — turnaround depends on parts availability and our workload, and will be agreed with you before work starts.
Diagnostics & no-fix-no-fee
A £20 diagnostics fee may apply. It is waived if you go ahead with the repair. If we can't fix the fault, you pay nothing beyond any diagnostics fee already agreed.
Warranty
Repairs are covered by a 30-day warranty on the specific work and parts we've fitted. The warranty doesn't cover accidental damage, liquid damage after the repair, software issues we didn't cause, or pre-existing faults unrelated to the work carried out.
Your data & backups
Please back up your device before handing it over. We take reasonable care, but we can't be held responsible for loss of data during a repair, especially where the fault itself puts data at risk (e.g. liquid or board damage).
Uncollected devices
Please collect your device within 60 days of completion. After 90 days of failed contact, devices may be recycled or disposed of to recover unpaid costs, in line with the Torts (Interference with Goods) Act 1977.
Liability
Our liability for any repair is limited to the value of the repair itself or the current market value of the device, whichever is lower. Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights as a consumer under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
